TEAR Australia believes the best people to fight poverty and injustice are poor communities and families themselves. We see our role as equipping them as they work to transform their own lives with resourcefulness and courage. We do this through our partners: local Christian groups, churches, and relief and development agencies.

Together, we focus on projects that seek to improve the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people, that unite communities as they work together to direct their own future, and that empower both men and women as agents of change.
